The GLONASS System Control Center warned of short-term connection interruptions on September 9 and 10, 2018.
“According to the System Control Center, the use of three Glonass-M satellites ( № 730, 743 and 745) is scheduled for short — term interruptions in connection with routine maintenance on September 9 and 10 of this year, “the center’s website notes.
SC Glonass-M № 730 the interruptions in the use from 21:20 (MSK) 09/09/18. until 07:00 (MSK) on 10/09/18.
SC Glonass-M №743 the interruptions in the use from 20:29 (MSC) 09.09.18. until 21:30 (MSK) on 09/09/18.
SC Glonass-M №745 the interruptions in the use from 20:34 (MSK) 09/09/18. untill 21:41 (MSK) on 09/09/18.
At present, there are 26 satellites in the GLONASS orbital constellation, of which 24 are in working order (№ 701 undergoes flight tests, №. 734 is temporarily withdrawn for maintenance).
For global coverage, the world needs 24 active GLONASS satellites, in Russia – 18.
